VANDALS SCATTER GLASS IN CHILDREN’S PLAY AREA IN TOTLAND

An appeal has been issued by Totland Parish Council after damage to a children’s play area in the town was reported over the past week.

Staff in the Parish Office have apparently spoken with a number of residents after vandalism was noted at the Recreation Ground play area and antisocial behaviour was experienced.

In one instance, glass was smashed around the play slide and fizzy drinks were poured down it. Additionally, youths thought to be aged between 13 and 15 have caused issues by setting fires within a play tunnel.

The incidents have been reported to the police. A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said:

“We received a report on 8th September of issues regarding vandalism and anti-social behaviour at Totland Recreation Ground over the summer holidays.

“It’s reported that youths had been setting fires and leaving broken glass in the children’s play area.

“We encourage people to continue to report any issues relating to anti-social behaviour in this area to police, so the local neighbourhood policing team can build a bigger picture of the full extent of the issues and take any necessary action.”

If you have any information on the damage, you’re asked to email the Parish Clerk at [email protected]

What on earth is wrong with these morons?????
Were they not little 1s once?????
Why do something like this?????
Oh I know they are bored showing off to their friends…… etc etc ….

Well when caught I hope they enjoy clearing up all the glass etc and then paying for all the damage they have caused ….
Really sorry for all the families that cannot use these facilities due to the moronic kretins who think this is acceptable behaviour……
No respect or discipline….

People now are better off, not worse off having children. Hence many are born, who if they never gained for their parent or rarely parents, a free house, subsidised rent and council tax and a really good income for 18 years, would not have been conceived or aborted.

So here for the worng reason, unloved, unwanted they end up vile. Likely most who do such are on benefits, and their father if known, long gone off the scene.

End making people better off by having children, THEN and ONLY then would wanted, balanced kids rule once more.

Cretins, absolute cretins is all I can say. Anyone who acts in this way is a disgrace to the human race, no thought or awareness for the consequences of their actions. Probably not likely to ever get caught, but if they do, they should be made to go and clear up the broken glass with their bare hands then receive a heavy fine for their ignorance and stupidity. Before anyone does the ‘you were a teenager once’, I certainly never behaved in this way when I was that age!

Why do the parents not know where or what their kids are up to? Do they not care kids go missing all the time? They open the door in the morning and probably don’t see them until bedtime? I thought latchkey kids was a thing of the past. parents take control of your kids you know who you are I bet? You should be ashamed.
