Following work to clear a section of landslip alongside the track in Sandown, Island Line trains are set to resume a partial service tomorrow (Wednesday).
Large bags filled with gravel have been built up behind a series of gardens near to Foxes Bridge in Sandown after a landslip brought earth from three gardens down towards the track, putting a halt to services on Friday.
Due to storm damage, trains are still unable to serve Ryde Pier Head and therefore a taxi replacement service will continue to operate between Ryde Esplanade and the Pier Head until further notice.
