A technical issue with 1 of 2 hovercrafts used on Hovertravel’s Ryde to Southsea route has led to the cancellation of 2 commuter crossings this morning (Tuesday).
Hovertravel advise that both the 07:00 and 07:30 flights from Ryde have been pulled this morning due to an undisclosed technical issue.
Customers are being transferred onto the 07:47 a Wightlink FastCat from Ryde Pier Head instead.
All other departures from Ryde and Southsea are due to operate on time
The cross-Solent operator apologise for the inconvenience.
