On the evenings of 24th, 25th, 26th and 29th September, vehicles will not be able to gain access to the floating bridge on the Cowes side due to road resurfacing works in Medina Road. As a result, pedestrians only will be able to use the link service.
Signs have been put in place by Island Roads informing motorists of the situation. The resurfacing has been scheduled for night-time hours to minimise disruption to the service.
Between the hours of 05:00 and 20:00 the floating bridge will operate services as normal for vehicles.
UPDATE THURSDAY @ 16:30 – The work, due to begin tonight, has been rescheduled according to the Isle of Wight Council and therefore a normal service will remain in operation on the Cowes Floating Bridge.
