Police Community Support Officers in the Sandown and Lake areas are actively setting up new Neighbourhood Watch schemes and are urging members of the public to get involved.
Neighbourhood Watch can play an important part in creating safer communities by reducing crime and the fear of crime, as well as enhancing community spirit and closer liaison between Police and public.
