A vivid double rainbow appeared in the skies above the Isle of Wight this afternoon and it was brilliantly captured on camera by several Island Echo readers.

Great photos, sorry I missed it
I’ve noticed looking at viewers photos on the weather news recently that there seem to be lots of these double rainbows appearing. Maybe the Gods are going to come down to us from Asgard to sort things out.
Let’s hope so and clear up the mess the current Government are causing, they go from bad to worse.
7 months later we are worse off!
You see, the island is special. HM Government and Ms Priti Patel will ruin this lovely place with her plan for housing non returning visitors.
Does this mean that the rainbows will pack their bags and go elsewhere, then? 🙁
Such a lovely sight ! When I used to travel through Europe, once when in Austria I saw four in a row, like a tunnel of rainbows, so amazing ! If know anything about rainbows, the second is reverse colours to first, and the space between the rainbows is a different colour, nature at one of her finest !!
