RAIL REPLACEMENT IN OPERATION THIS WEEKEND AS ISLAND LINE SHUT FOR MAINTENANCE WORK

Island Line trains are suspended this weekend to allow engineers to carry out maintenance work on the network.

The lines between Ryde Pier Head and Shanklin is closed all day today (Saturday) and Sunday.

Rail replacement buses will run between Ryde Esplanade and Shanklin, but Ryde Pier Head and Smallbrook Junction will not be served by these replacement buses.

Taxis will run between Ryde Pier Head and Ryde Esplanade instead.
