UPDATED: Wightlink have announced that their 21:15 catamaran sailing from Portsmouth Harbour and the return sailing at 21:47 from Ryde Pier Head have been cancelled this evening (Sunday).
Due to mechanical problems experienced earlier today on one of the Wight Ryder vessels, it has been necessary to cancel the two crossings.
UPDATE MONDAY: There is further disruption to Wightlink’s cross-Solent service today.
Sailings departing Portsmouth Harbour at 15 minutes past each hour and Ryde Pier Head at 47 minutes past each hour, will still run as timetabled, however the 06:40 from Portsmouth Harbour will not be running.
Additional sailings will be performed by the Ashley R charter vessel, with crossing time approximately thirty minutes.
Times for the additional sailings are as follows:
07:10/ 08:15/09:15 from Ryde Pier Head
07:40/08:45 from Portsmouth Harbour.
