Residents and businesses in East Cowes are without power again this morning (Saturday) following the re-occurrence of an underground cable fault.
Around 120 properties are currently without electricity supplies in the Castle Street, York Avenue and Well Road areas of the town and are expected to be without the vital resource for up to 8 hours.
Engineers from SSE are working to repair the fault, which caused identical problems for locals yesterday.
In Thorness last night, a number of properties were without power following a nearby fault. Engineers were deployed to the scene and reconnected the supply.
