policebackOfficers in the West Wight are continuing to investigate a series of break-ins at a children’s center and nearby primary school.

Police are appealing for witnesses after All Saints Primary School in Freshwater was broken into during the New Year period.

It happened sometime between 03:00 on 3rd January and 07:00 yesterday (Monday), when someone has forced their way into a portacabin within the school grounds.

During this time there were also some repeated break-ins at the Early Years Learning Centre, which is also located on the grounds.

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward with information to help identify the suspects. Local Safer Neighbourhoods Teams will be regularly visiting the area as part of their routine patrols.
