Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following an assault on a woman in Ryde last Friday (4th July).
The incident took place a week ago on Nicholson Road in the town at around 15:00, when a woman who was walking with a child in a pushchair was assaulted sustaining minor injuries.
A 29-year-old man from Ryde has been arrested in relation to the attack, however officers are keen to speak to a van driver who stopped to check the woman was OK following the isolated incident.
