Storeroom2010, an island charity dedicated to helping island people, have received £100 on behalf of the Yorkshire Building Society Charitable Foundation.
The team went along to the Hose Rhodes Dickson office in Newport yesterday (Wednesday) where the Managing Partner, Richard Dickson, presented Storeroom with the charitable cheque.
The donation was part of an annual giveaway called ‘Make a Difference Week’ that sees Society members nominate a charity or good cause they would like to see receive a donation and Storeroom was nominated by one of the customers of the Society’s Newport agency.
The Storeroom will be closed for two weeks from 4pm on Saturday 21st December and will reopen at 10am on Tuesday 7th January.
