The newly bolstered fitness programme includes more classes than ever before across our 1Leisure sites. Extra Kettlebell and Cyclone (group cycling) classes have been added to cope with demand.  Due to exceptional ongoing success, all of the previous favourite classes remain – from Aero Max to Zumba, Hoopworx to Yoga, DanceAtomic to Body Conditioning – the variety of classes mirrors the vast spectrum of 1Leisure members.

The autumn programme is just the start of a revamped service from 1Leisure that will also see the launch of a brand new, user-friendly website later this year. www.1leisure.co.uk will include a full range of nutrition and fitness tips, instruction videos and much more  It will also be easier than ever to find costs and timetables; a one-stop shop for Island fitness needs. On top of this it will have the facility for online memberships and ticket booking, as well as an online shop for sport equipment and supplements.

This will complement the mobile telephone App that was launched earlier this year which gives you 1Leisure at your fingertips (search 1Leisure).

Councillor Ian Stephens, Executive Member for Tourism, Culture and Heritage, said:

“The 1Leisure team are always looking for new and innovative ways to bring new services to the Island and make our leisure offer exciting.  The new class programme demonstrates that, and I’m looking forward to seeing the new website when it launches later this year.  It will provide an inclusive and extensive service to Island residents and visitors.  Congratulations to all of the winners.  Enjoy your prizes and the 1Leisure facilities.”
