Following discussions between motorhome owners and senior Wightlink managers as a follow up to the recent Meet the Managers consultation event, the ferry company has announced new rates for customers with motorhomes.
A Motorhome special is now available on the Wightlink website with savings of up to 40 per cent off the normal fares for off peak travel; there are further discounts for members of the Caravan Club and Camping and Caravanning Club.
Commercial Director Clive Tilley said:
“We recognise that people with motorhomes who want to explore further afield are happy to travel on our ferries at quieter times so we are delighted to offer them considerable discounts.”
Wightlink Chief Executive Russell Kew and his team regularly talk to customers at all ports and onboard the ferries to discover their opinions of services.
The next Meet the Manager events will be at Yarmouth ticket hall, Tuesday 28th March 18:00-20:00; Fishbourne terminal Wednesday 28th May 14:00-16:00 and Ryde Pier Head, Thursday 31th July, time to be confirmed.
