Staff at the Island’s TK Maxx store are supporting a national campaign for people to ‘Give up Clothes’ to help raise funds for children and young adults with cancer.
Islanders are being encouraged to fill a bag with unwanted clothes, accessories and quality homeware and take it to TK Maxx in South Street, Newport. The clothes are then sold in Cancer Research UK shops to help save lives.
Every bag could be worth up to £30 to help brave kids.
TK Maxx is the biggest corporate funder of research into childhood cancers. Since 2004 they’ve raised over £19.7 million for Cancer Research UK’s work, with £15.7 million supporting research into finding cures and kinder treatments for children with cancer.
