The 48-year-old owner of Royal China in Sandown has pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm with intent following an attack on a 22-year-old woman back in June, which resulted in the young female receiving life changing burns to her face and upper body.
Sau Lin-Hin of Mulberry Way, Ryde appeared at Portsmouth Crown Court on Thursday where she pleaded guilty to the offence, which involved sodium hydroxide.
Lin-Hin has been kept on remand and will be sentenced at a later date.
