Lidl is recalling its Simply Mature White Cheddar due to the potential presence of pieces of plastic in the product, which makes this unsafe to eat.
If you have brought this product, with best before date of 26/12/2020, you are advised not to eat it. If you’re already making essential trips to Lidl, you can return the item to the store for a full refund, with or without a receipt.
Alternatively, you are advised to dispose of the product and email [email protected] including an image of the affected product with the best before date. The customer services team will process this refund via letter.
Other simply products or best before dates have not been affected by this recall.
