The Wave 105 Cash for Kids team have launched its annual ‘Easter Appeal’ this week.
Until Friday 11th April, the charity is asking for listeners to donate an Easter egg to drop-off points across the Isle of Wight for disadvantaged children.
Wave 105 Cash for Kids charity manager, Gloria Hill, said:
“This is the fourth year of running our Easter Appeal and last year we were able to distribute more than 2,000 eggs to disadvantaged children. An Easter egg might not seem like much, but for a child who would otherwise not have had a treat at this time of year it can bring a huge smile to their face, and a little bit of joy. Hopefully with the help of our listeners we’ll be able to deliver even more eggs this year.
“Huge thanks go to our 2014 sponsor TJ Waste and our supporters, Pickfords, FJB Hotels and Sainsbury’s.”
Wave 105 Cash for Kids have drop-off points at two Sainsbury’s stores, one at Newport and the other at West Cowes. For a full list of drop-off points across the south please click on the Easter Egg Appeal tab on the Wave 105 website www.wave105.com.
