Firefighters from Newport have tackled a chimney fire at a property in Wootton this evening (Wednesday).
1 appliance was mobilised to an address on the High Street at around 18:00.
As the weather changes and the nights draw in, Hampshire Fire Control are advising Islanders to check their chimneys and arrange for them to be cleaned.
