An E-Fit has been released of a man Police would like to speak to in connection to a burglary in Newport last month.
The incident took place at an address in St Johns Road, Newport on Tuesday 18th February when sometime between 12:10 and 13:00 an offender smashed a window to gain access to the property, before searching the house and even rifling through unopened birthday cards.
Today (Wednesday), Hampshire Constabulary have released a picture matching the description of a man seen in the area during that time.
The suspect is described as White, aged 45 – 55 years old, around 5ft 9″ tall and of medium build. He is said to have very dark hair in need of a cut with a growing out fringe swept to the side and a very thick straight moustache with dark eyebrows and eyes. The man is said to have a oval face with high noticeable cheekbones and a slightly olive complexion.
