The Needles Breezer is back on the road for the summer season, giving visitors to the Isle of Wight front row seats to its stunning west coast sights.
The special Southern Vectis open top service offers passengers a one hour hop-on hop-off bus ride through pretty countryside, rural villages and along dramatic coastline. It also stops at some of the island’s top visitor attractions on its circular route.
The highlight of the ride is the spectacular climb up the cliff above the Needles Rocks and lighthouse. The bus serves the harbour town of Yarmouth, Freshwater Bay, and passes the site of the1970 Isle of Wight Festival. Passengers can also visit The Needles Old Battery, Afton apple orchard, Dimbola Lodge, the Needles Park, and Alum Bay along the way.
The Needles Breezer runs every 30 minutes between 10:00 and 17:00 daily from March until the beginning of November. Tickets are valid 24 hours and also give customers unlimited travel on all Southern Vectis buses right across the island, allowing them to make the most of their visit.
Fares for The Needles Breezer, including unlimited travel on all Southern Vectis services for 24 hours, cost £10 for adults, £5 for under 19s and over 60s, and £25 for up to five people travelling together. Tickets can be bought from the driver or at Newport and Yarmouth Bus Stations.
