The Wolverton Folk & Blues Fair will return to Wolverton Manor in Shorwell after a 2-year hiatus on Saturday 14th May.
Since its launch in 2011, the family-friendly festival has been gaining momentum with fantastic bands/artists each year along with locally produced food, children’s activities, a tea tent and a Real Ale tent.
Special guest artists at Wolverton Folk & Blues this year include Europe’s premier bluesman Dave Kelly and his band, rising UK Folk stars of 2022 ‘Granny’s Attic’ and British blues supremo, ‘The Papa George Band’.
As well as the main stage, the ‘Beer Tent Acoustic Stage’ will return, providing a full and varied programme featuring some of the best Folk & Blues musicians from across the Isle of Wight.
Other Bands/Artists confirmed include The Devil’s Damned String Band; The Bohemians; Laurie McVay & The High Rollers; The Clacks Band, Vote Pedro; Steve Love; Brighstone Barnacles; Doug Alldred & The Silver Lining; SheShells; Knucklehead and Moonshine Border Morris
The Folk & Blues Festival is held in aid of Leukaemia Research and Brighstone School.
Tickets are priced at £10.00 (£12.00 on day). There is free entrance for children aged 12 and under.
