Wightlink has stepped in to help restore plantings in Yarmouth to their former glory after hearing that local people described them as ‘scruffy and overgrown with weeds’.
After speaking with Town Mayor Councillor Steve Cowley, Wightlink Head of Operations Sean Millward arranged for the bed closest to the ferry terminal to be weeded and planted so visitors and local people can enjoy it.
Sean said:
“Wightlink is proud to be Part of Island Life and we know Yarmouth is an important gateway to the Island, especially in summer.
“We are pleased to play our part in making the town look as attractive as possible.”
