Ventnor RFC will host touring teams from Thatcham RFC and Sully Sports this Saturday (7th May}.
Thatcham will bring a party of 46 (including 25 players); Sully Sports will arrive with a group of 32 (including 18 players). The visiting teams (many in fancy dress) will arrive at around 13:30.
Ventnor will be represented by at least 25 players – some playing for VRFC for the first time. A few players from the Sandown and Shanklin Hurricanes and Wootton will also be taking part. Ventnor RFC’s Clive Cardwell-Hill will referee.
The rugby will take the form of four 20-minute games kicking off at around 13:30.
- Match 1: Thatcham v VRFC
- Match 2: Sully v Thatcham
- Match 3: Thatcham v The Sully and VRFC Barbarians
- Match 4: A Mix up of teams with Forwards playing in the Backs and vice-versa
