Live music, family fun, food stalls and entertainment will return to Ryde seafront later this month as Ticket to Ryde celebrates its 12th year.
The free-to-attend community festival, organised by Jack Up Events in partnership with Ryde Town Council, is set to take place at Eastern Gardens opposite Ryde Harbour across the Late May Bank Holiday weekend on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th May.
Running from 10:00 until 19:00 on both days, the event promises 2 days of live music, family activities, food and drink, and local market stalls overlooking Ryde’s seafront.
Live performances will begin at 11:30 each day, with a line-up featuring local acts including Taboo, Wight Hot Pipes, Greg Barnes Music, Emellia, The Amy Jolliffe Band, Pistol Knights and Side Hustle.
Festivalgoers will also be able to enjoy a range of food vendors serving burgers, loaded fries, Whitby scampi, pizza and mac ‘n’ cheese, alongside sweet treats, hot drinks and candy floss. A real ale bar supplied by Island Ales will also be on site.
Children’s activities will include badge, keyring and sticker making, while visitors can also browse a selection of traditional market stalls.
This year’s nominated charity partner is Alzheimer Cafe Isle of Wight, which supports individuals and families affected by memory loss and dementia.
A spokesperson for Jack Up Events has said:
“With a lovely atmosphere and laid-back, family-friendly vibe, it’s the perfect way to enjoy a lazy bank holiday weekend.”
