WightlinkWight Ryder IIA temporary timetable will be operating on Wightlink’s Fastcat service until Thursday whilst essential maintenance is carried out on Wight Ryder I, it has been announced.

An hourly service is now in operation for the next four days, with sailings leaving Portsmouth Harbour at 15 minutes past the hour (between 05:15 to 22:15) and from Ryde at 47 minutes past the hour (between 05:47 and 22:47).

To minimise inconvenience to customers, a charter vessel has been brought in to operate the extra sailings tomorrow (Tuesday) and on Wednesday and Thursday, running from Portsmouth Harbour at 07:40, 16:40 & 17:50 and from Ryde at 07:10, 08:20 & 17:15.

Because these sailings will be operated by charter vessel, Ashleigh R, crossing times will be slightly longer (around 30 minutes). Customers are advised to leave extra time if connecting with other travel services.

Wightlink would like to apologise for the inconvenience that this will cause. If you have any questions, you can call the company’s call centre on 0871 376 1000 (calls cost 7p per minute, plus network extras).
