UPDATED: The Isle of Wight NHS Trust are advising members of the public that there is currently an equipment failure of the hospital’s analogue phone system.
Anyone telephoning direct to clinic areas or wards will not be able to get through due to the fault.
BT are en-route to address the problem.
The public are being advised to telephone 01983 524081, where your call will be transferred for you.
Anyone requiring NHS 111 or 999 can still telephone those numbers direct.
The trust apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
UPDATE @ 14:54 – The phone system has now been repaired and is operating as per normal.
