The swimming pool and wet-side changing rooms at Medina Leisure Centre, Newport are now open as normal following extensive refurbishment.
The pool reopened yesterday after re-tiling and pump works, while the changing rooms were also given a makeover which includes new flooring, showers and lockers.
The ongoing refurbishment of Medina Leisure Centre has already seen the Tone Zone gym moved to spacious new accommodation and stocked with more than 70 state of the art pieces of equipment, making it one of the most modern gyms on the south coast.
A new activity studio with sprung floor is also open and is being well used by customers.
A final phase of refurbishment at the centre is due to begin shortly, which focuses on improving the main entrance foyer.
Other council leisure facilities at The Heights, Sandown and Westridge, Ryde, have already benefited from extensive refurbishment.
