The sighting of a possible drug deal taking place in broad daylight in the middle of Newport led to Police seizing a car earlier today (Tuesday).
CCTV control room operators alerted officers to the situation at the Cineworld complex car park on Furlongs.
Police swiftly arrived on scene and carried out a number of Section 23 Misue of Drugs Act searches, but the searches failed to locate any drugs.
However, it was discovered that the driver of the white Mini One was driving without a licence and without insurance.
The vehicle was seized and has now been taken off the roads.
Ok no drugs , but why does this person think that driving with no licence or insurance is OK ?
Just proves that it is worth following up suspicions when the Police have the time.
A minority of people are not prepared to obey the law and will only respond to severe penalties and punishments.
These few people are a drain on society.
One thing lead’s to another well done to the police another idiot off the road.
