RYDE HARRIERS ROAD RUNNERS PUSH FOR PROMOTION TO DIVISION A

Ryde Harriers put in some strong performances at the final event of the Hampshire Road Runners League Season at Alresford 10km on Sunday 19th June.

Simon Pilcher and Adam Tuck broke into the top 10 with 6th (35:03) and 8th (35:30) respectively in a great battle. Harriers Captain Trevor McAlister also scored for the Men’s team with a strong time of 38:48. Wayne Matthews and Stuart McDonald also put in good performances for the Harriers.

For the women, Jodie Wilmott was 1st Harrier past the post in 47:16, and Women’s Captain Natalie Rose finished in 55:14.

Ryde Harriers are now in a strong position to gain promotion into Division A of the Hampshire League with the results to be finalised shortly.
