20-year-old Modud Suhag Miah has been charged with robbery following an incident in Newport earlier this week.
Miah, of Pitt Street in Ryde, is accused of carrying out a robbery on Wednesday (2nd September).
Hampshire Constabulary have been investigating the circumstances of the incident and have now charged the 20-year-old with 1 count of robbery.
He was remanded in custody to appear at the Isle of Wight Magistrates’ Court this morning (Friday).
