St Olave’s popular Afternoon Tea event – which has been postponed for 3 years because of COVID-19 – will be held in the church in Gatcombe on 6th August from 15:00 to 17:00.
Attendees will be treated to a glass of Prosecco and shown to a reserved table. A selection of dainty sandwiches and cakes and a choice of different teas or coffee is available with waitress service.

Tickets are priced at £15.00. Dietary requirements such as ‘Gluten Free’ will be catered for.

It would require some tweaking for Ryde, Cowes & Newport etc, but I am sure ten cans of Stella and a Big Mac style burger could raise similar sums of money.
After all Jesus for as yet unknown reasons to us mortals loves the low life chavs as much as the arrogant snobby types.
