policetapeOfficers from Hampshire Constabulary are this week investigating reports of damage to ten cars in Upper Highland Road, Ryde.

The incidents occurred in the early hours of the evening between Friday 14th June and Sunday 16th June. All the vehicles were left with large scratches in the paintwork.

This is a rare occurrence in a quiet residential street. Ryde Safer Neighbourhoods team have made house to house enquiries, but police would ask any members of the public who have may have seen anything suspicious or have any information relating to the incident to contact them.

Anyone with information can contact Ryde Police Station by phoning 101. Information can be given anonymously by phoning the independent Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
