More than 50 new shows have been added to this year’s Ventnor Fringe line-up, with organisers promising the biggest festival yet is still to come.
More than 50 new shows have been revealed for Ventnor Fringe 2026, with organisers saying the latest announcement is just “scratching the surface” of what’s planned.
Set to transform the Island’s southernmost town between 17th-26th July, the festival has grown into a flagship cultural event, known for its pop-up venues and diverse programme spanning theatre, comedy, cabaret, circus, music and family-friendly performances.
Among those heading to Ventnor for special previews ahead of their Edinburgh runs are Frisky’s Remix Roulette, The Mr Thing Show and a host of acclaimed comedians including Felicity Ward, Sam Nicoresti, Tom Ballard, Lara Ricote, Tom Ward, Lil Wenker, Li Jin Hao, Lou Wall and Thor Stenhaug.
Impressionist Jess Robinson will bring her take on Elton John’s greatest hits, while Fishing 4 Chips return with Burning Down the Horse, swapping Pompeii for Troy following the success of It’s Gunna Blow.
Award-winning duo A&E Comedy will make their Ventnor Fringe debut with Do All The Things, described as a bold and uplifting response to modern-day disconnection.
Elsewhere, festival favourites Impromptu Shakespeare will once again create brand new plays each night, while Frankie Monroe returns to host Pick n Mix — a showcase of some of the Fringe’s more alternative acts.
More than 60 shows are already on sale, with tickets and further information available via the Ventnor Fringe website or from the Ventnor Exchange. The full programme is due to be announced at the end of April.
