Oakfield Youth Phoenix Under-8s won the SCI (Sports Club International) tournament for their age group in the final at Seaclose Park, Newport on Sunday (1st May).
Close to 150 teams from across the UK competed in the tournament in what has become 1 of the biggest youth football festivals in the country.
The trophy was presented to Oakfield by former Leeds, Tottenham, Blackburn, Burnley and England goalkeeper, Paul Robinson.
I must say it was an awful shame that there was alot of cheating by clubs, its a kids event why tarnish like that?
Results were inaccurate and goals/points messed up.
Then a Welsh team in an older group was swapping players not in the registered team it was sad to see.
