The Le Blanq event with Sir Bradly Wiggins and Raymond Blanc, which was due to take place later this month, has been postponed until the Spring.
The recent Government announcement about reducing the number of people allowed in a group from 30 to 6 has led to organisers re-arranging the event.
‘LeBlanq: 01’, originally due to be held between 25th-27th September 2020, was set to offer visitors a weekend of eating, drinking and riding like no other with the 2 legends leading the way to offer an expertly curated 3-day adventure.
Organisers have confirmed that Leblanq: 01 will now take place in Spring 2021. Thanks to customers, partners and supporters has been given with promises that next year’s event will be even better than what had been planned for this month.
Councillor Gary John Peace said:
“While I am very disappointed by the news, it is entirely the right decision in light of the new rules on social gatherings announced by government this week. The Island looks forward to hosting this prestigious event next year.”

Rumour coming in from Parliament that Christmas will be cancelled this year. Boris has said he is upset to do this but it will save lives. Hopefully things will return to normal by Christmas 2022.

I know you’re joking but Christmas causes untold misery. You get more suicides and massive debt. Cancelling it would save lives and help millions of families from avoiding unnecessary debt.
A very very low percentage of people think Christmas is misery. As for suicides becoming more where did you get that from. Saving lives- a bit drastic mate. Unnecessary debt ? OMG. Love Christmas and I’ve never met anybody that doesn’t. Of cause I was joking. This government is a joke. Apparently only 10% of deaths now are due to covid19. Chill out mate – only one life no return ticket.
I feel sorry that these all events this year have been ruined. But what’s even more sad,is people think that,well we can hold them next year! Maybe? But these events will never be the same again! Restrictions etc. But that’s all down to you people, it’s your events!
