UPDATED: Due to essential maintenance to Wight Ryder II, Wightlink have announced some changes to it’s Ryde Pier Head to Portsmouth catamaran service over the coming days.
Although a frequent service will run with Wight Ryder I, a charter vessel will also be in use which will result in longer crossing times. The timetable changes will be in place for tomorrow (Thursday), Friday, Saturday and Monday.
Wight Ryder I will operate on sailings at 15 minutes past the hour from Portsmouth Harbour, and 47 minutes past the hour from Ryde Pier.
A charter vessel will be used on the following sailings:
Thursday 8 May
From Portsmouth: 16:40, 17:40, 1845
From Ryde: 1710, 18:10
Friday 9 May
From Portsmouth: 07:40, 08:40 and 16:40, 17:40
From Ryde: 07:10, 08:10, 09:10 and 17:10
Saturday 10 May
From Portsmouth: 10:40, 11:40, 12:40, 13:40, 14:40, 15:40, 16:40, 17:40
From Ryde: 10:10, 11:10, 12:10, 13:10, 14:10, 15:10, 16:10, 17:10
Monday 12 May
From Portsmouth: 07:40, 08:40 and 16:40, 17:40, 18:45
From Ryde: 07:10, 08:10, 09:10 and 17:10, 18:10
UPDATE MONDAY: Due to the overrunning of maintenance work on Wight Ryder II, a Charter vessel will also run tomorrow.
