The main road through Newchurch has been closed to allow emergency works to take place.
Winford Road will be closed from its junction with harbors Lake Lane to its junction with Palmers Lane to allow a burst water main to be repaired.
Diversions for motorists will be in place – with all drivers urged to follow the signposted route. Access will remain for residents, however.
The closure comes into force today (Tuesday) and will last for 5 days, or until works are complete – whichever is sooner.
