The Isle of Wight Council’s library service is providing a new web based facility to help people preparing to take their driving theory test.
The new service, called ‘Theory Test Pro’, is now available which gives people an online resource where they can practice Driving Standards Agency approved test questions and also learn the Highway Code.
The online tool also includes hazard perception videos and speech-enabled tests so you can listen to the questions. The aim is to help drivers practice their theory test before taking the real thing.
To access the tool, log on to iow.theorytestpro.co.uk or click on the link at the top right of this page. To use the service, you will need to register your details and have a valid library card which includes a number. If you do not have one, library cards are free and are available in any of the Island’s 11 libraries and the mobile libraries.
As well as the online driving theory tool, the library service website also includes audio books, online courses, dictionaries, encyclopaedias, language courses, newspapers and magazines. A valid library card provides free access to all these and more.
