Over 1 hundred players, members and sponsors of Ventnor Rugby Club attended the annual Dinner Dance and Awards Nights on Saturday (6th May).
The evening was a great success with an excellent dinner, some great music and the usual raucous speeches, raffle and auction plus excellent live music from the Fusion Party Band.
The club’s president, Warren Riches, opened the evening with a welcoming speech and introduced the award winners after the dinner.
Awards were won by the following people:
1st XV Player of the Year – Joe Coghlan
2nd XV Player of the Year – Ross Harris
Coaches Player of the Year – Lewis Jones
The John Adams Young Player of the Year – George Collett.
Most Improved Player of the Year – Ben Souter
Top Try Scorer – Ed Blake
Supporters’ Player of the Year – Lewy Morton
Clubman of the Year – Liz Simpson
