Bus passengers are being invited to have their say on Southern Vectis services across the Isle of Wight, with a month’s free travel up for grabs.
Southern Vectis has launched its latest customer survey, giving Islanders the opportunity to provide feedback on the standard of its services and suggest areas for improvement.
The survey is carried out twice a year and covers different aspects of travelling with the Island’s main bus operator.
Southern Vectis says feedback from passengers will help it understand what customers value about its services, as well as areas where improvements could be made.
Nikki Honer, Southern Vectis head of communications, has said:
“We’d like as many of our customers as possible to take part in this survey – which we carry out twice a year.
“Our mission is to make bus travel as attractive as possible, so more people opt for sustainable transport. This will go a long way to reducing congestion and improving air quality here.
“We have been successful in doing this so far – with service improvements, and the strong partnership we have with Isle of Wight Council to improve journey times and introduce a new fleet of electric buses.
“It’s important that we regularly receive feedback on all aspects of our services – those that people love, and the things that people feel we could improve.
“Anyone wishing to take part can do so by visiting our website. This is our customers’ opportunity to be involved in shaping the future of bus services across the Isle of Wight, and we are looking forward to hearing from them.
“As an extra incentive, those taking part also have the opportunity to win a month’s free bus travel with Southern Vectis.”
The survey is open from today (14th September) until 28th September, with terms and conditions for the free travel prize draw available online.
