The Isle of Wight Council has agreed to sell a former middle school to a local housing group, it has been announced.
The site of the former West Wight Middle School in Queens Road, Freshwater is set to be sold for £825,000 to Spectrum Housing.
It is proposed that some 50 properties will be built at the location of which 35 will be classed as affordable.
