This season’s favourites for the Wessex Premier title – AFC Portchester – will be playing a pre-season friendly against the Port at Smallbrook Stadium today (Saturday) with kick off at 15:00.
Portchester will be captained by former Bournemouth, Bristol City, Ipswich Town, and Portsmouth forward Brett Pitman. Last season, Jersey born Pitman played for National League Eastleigh. Pitman has made a total of 628 appearances over his long career, scoring 196 goals.
Cowes Sports will be playing Southern Combination Wick at Westwood Park. Kick off is at 15:00.
East Cowes Vics will venture across the Solent to play Moneyfields Reserves at Petersfield School.
