UPDATED: The Cowes Floating Bridge has run aground this evening (Monday) resulting in the suspension of the service.
The Isle of Wight Council say the vessel will not be refloated until high tide tonight.
A passenger launch is being arranged and is expected to begin operations shortly.
UPDATE @ 20:55 – The floating bridge has returned to service.
