Firefighters attended a large bonfire in the West Wight during the early hours of this morning (Friday) after an eagle-eyed member of the public spotted the fire in the distance.
The unattended bonfire on Fort Warden Road, Totland was extinguished by the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service.
Crews were called to the scene at just gone 05:00.
