cctvmcdCCTV images of two females who Police wish to speak to regarding a handbag theft in Newport have been released.

A 44-year-old woman left her handbag on a seat near to the serving counter at McDonald’s Resturant in Newport Town Center before walking off, forgetting about the bag on Wednesday 10th April.

After a short time, she returned to the fast food chain however the bag had gone.

Now, Police want to speak to two females who they suspect stole the handbag between 13:45 and 14:45.

cctvmcd2Anyone with information about the incident or  anyone who can identify the two women pictured in the CCTV  can contact PC Iain Robertson at Newport Police Station by phoning 101. Information can be given anonymously by phoning the independent Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
