A fallen tree on the railway line between Havenstreet and Wootton stopped the steam train in its tracks earlier this afternoon (Wednesday).
The Isle of Wight Steam Railway line was blocked for a short time when the tree fell across the track.
Passengers watched on as operatives swiftly cleared the obstruction.
The train has now successfully returned to Havenstreet Station and passengers have been able to disembark.
Wow that was close.
Well I’ve heard of leaves on the line but this is ridiculous!
Everything was handled brilliantly by staff 🙂
