Wightlink-Wight Mountain CRT Junior rider, Ewan Cook competed in the 2nd round of the Dick Evans Memorial Series in Portsmouth on Wednesday 18th May.
Ewan put in an amazing effort in the Scratch race, but on the 10-lap Points race he clipped the rear wheel of a fellow competitor and veered off the track, breaking his spokes. Despite this, Ewan finished in 7th place overall on the night.
Ewan is gaining experience with every race and is certainly one to watch for the future.
