An Island sports centre are offering members of the emergency services a special discount throughout August and September.
West Wight Sports Centre are now offering Gold memberships for up to two months for just £5 to any members of the emergency services including Police, Ambulance, HM Coastguard, RNLI or Independent lifeboats and the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service.
The specially discounted memberships give free use of the gym, sports hall, swimming pools and attendance at any of the centre’s fitness classes.
The special offer provides fantastic value for money for those who risk their lives for others. A swim alone costs £4.20, a class is £4.00 and a gym session £6.00, so a saving can be made almost immediately.
Proof of employment as emergency service personnel (paid or voluntary) will be required. Offer is valid August and September 2014. All memberships will expire on September 30th 2014. Please note that you would have to have an induction at a cost of £6.00 before using the gym.
