David Wilson Homes is offering prospective purchasers on the Isle of Wight a last chance to buy ahead of the final Help to Buy deadline with a sneak preview of the sell-out site from the sky.
New drone footage has been released of St George’s Gate in Shide – one of David Wilson Homes’ most popular sites to date – offering interested buyers a preview of the site from the comfort of their own home.
What’s more, David Wilson Homes is offering the last chance to buy as the final homes are snapped up ahead of the changes to the Government’s Help to Buy incentive.
With the current scheme set to end in March 2021, the race is on for Islanders to secure a home, with many home hunters aiming to make use of the government-backed scheme that offers 20% towards the deposit on a new build property.
Tammy Bishop, Sales Director at David Wilson Homes Southampton said:
“With Help to Buy sadly coming to an end in April next year, this stylish new drone imagery will provide new buyers with a fantastic insight into all St George’s Gate has to offer.
“The development has been popular from the start and will show potential buyers the development in all its glory, while providing a much needed service to those unable to visit the site in person.”

Perhaps the council could do a ‘drone video’ of their numerous social housing gardens and properties to see if such encourages private buyers onto the Pennyfeather and Bullen sites where atm 70% is thus far earmarked for social housing.
If so, please add audio of the charming cheery chat between peaceable, happy neighbours and the sweeter, softer tones of conversation from the swarms of children playing happily on such estates.
I am sure private sales will rocket……….
Perhaps the artistic licence of an artists impression is best utilised until the private homes are all sold.
OMG ! ! !
Houses with NO character at all.
Not for me.
Both of my Sons have bought one of these houses, they are lovely with lots of character inside. I would love one!
